Terra Nil is Out This Spring for PC and Netflix

Free Lives' reverse city builder focuses on restoring the environment as you purify the air, cultivate trees and wildlife, and much more.

Devolver Digital has released a new trailer for Terra Nil, a reverse city builder focused on environmental restoration. Developed by Free Lives of Broforce and Gorn fame, it’s releasing in Spring for PC and Netflix. Check out the latest gameplay below, showcasing the restoration of various environments.

Terra Nil takes place on procedurally generated maps, which are essentially wastelands. Using various machines, the world brims to life in different ways. Trees emerge, wildlife returns, coral reefs grow, and much more. Once the environment is fully restored, you can recycle your machines for a return to nature.

You can also enter Appreciate Mode and glimpse upon the restored world, admiring its various spectacles. The environments are hand-painted and the music creates a relaxing atmosphere. Even without the latter, the ambient sound effects are also nice to listen to. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay on Terra Nil in the coming months.
