Terraria, developed by Re-Logic, has a lot in common with Minecraft: they’re both indie efforts and found great success on the PC before releasing for consoles; both are open world sandbox titles that let you build and explore as much as you want, and both of them are insanely addictive. The former takes place from a side-scrolling 2D perspective however, while the latter is set in a full 3D world.
