In reply to Tony Montana. 5 years? they take at least 3 years to make a game, so even if their next game was to release today, there would still be 6 still to make the game after that and then elder scrolls 6.

So another about 5 years until Elder Scrolls 6 releases. Almost one more for RDR2, and more for another one, and they will start on half life 3, and then ES6.

Glad Hines reiterated this. I was wondering if the two major titles could be Skyrim VR and Fallout 4 VR, but if he says they still have to work on two titles then guess not. One will probably be that AAA freemium game they advertised a job listing for a ways back. I just hope whatever it is launches soon after E3. Doesn’t have to be ES6.. just need another BGS game.

Now that it’s clear (again) that they mean two AAA games in the same vein of Fallout and ES, I can’t imagine how much they will have improved their engine by the time ES6 launches! I was hoping it would be a PS5 game and unless BGS is being incredibly deceitful, seems like it won’t just be a PS5 game, but likely their second PS5 game, so they will have the hardware figured out already. Not to mention PSVR2 will be out by ES6 and it should be compatible inside and outside of VR without requiring two purchases. Cool!
