The Elder Scrolls Online will be appearing on the PlayStation 4 it seems, with a gameplay trailer showing up at Sony’s E3 press conference to show off the game’s environments and other feature. It will be arriving on the console in Spring 2014, with an exclusive beta for the console.
Based on Bethesda Softworks’ multi-million selling The Elder Scrolls franchise, the online game takes place thousands of years before the single-player games in a venerable war for the throne of Tamriel. Players can choose their own classes, customize their characters, select dozens of different skill trees and abilities and explore the vast lands, seeking alliances and completing quests.
Originally, it was thought that the game would be arriving on the PC in 2013. But with the news of the PS4 release being next year, it appears we may have to continue our wait for the PC version, perhaps till the end of this year itself.
