The Elder Scrolls Online is now roughly a month old and Zenimax Online Studios are working to pump more content for players to experience (along with addressing game breaking bugs such as a recent gold cloning issue.) Game director Matt Firor posted on the game’s official blog, detailing new content that will be incoming with Craglorn, the game’s first update.
We know about the game’s first Adventure Zone, namely Craglorn, and Trials, 12 player raids with leaderboard support. Both instances will cater to Veteran Rank 1 or above characters. There will also be a new Death Recap to show you who killed you and with what ability; underdog bonuses, which grant Alliance Points and XP for fighting with an alliance that has a lower population in the campaign; balances and tweaks to the combat, classes and the usual bug fixes; and a ton of other features that will be detailed in the final patch notes.
Firor also talked about the negative reviews the game has received. “While I obviously don’t agree with the more negative articles, the reviews are out there, and we read them to determine if there are legitimate complaints that we should address.”
“As you can see, we’re hard at work addressing them and will keep rolling out fixes. The important thing for you, the community, to know is that we’re looking at ALL the feedback (from critics and from players), we’re addressing any shortcomings, and we’ll continue to do so. This game will get better and better every week.”
