The Elder Scrolls Skyrim Confirmed For Nintendo Switch

But why is it launching in the Fall?

I mean, this had to be the most open secret of all time, right? The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is going to be making its way to the Nintendo Switch. Bethesda’s Todd Howard expressed his enthusiasm for working with Nintendo on the game, noting that the idea of never having to put the game down, and getting to play it on the go, is immensely appealing to him.

It is to me, too- which is why I have no idea why the game is going to be coming this late. Skyrim will be hitting the Switch this Holiday season- which is six years after the launch of the original, and over a year after the launch of the PS4 and Xbox One versions. Why? Why not have it be ready for launch?

Currently, if you want to play The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, you can pick it up on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC. Nintendo Switch will launch on March 3 worldwide.
