Developer Naughty Dog has announced a new documentary detailing the development of The Last of Us Part 2. The documentary, titled Grounded 2: Making The Last of Us Part 2, will act as a sequel to the original Grounded, which was released back in 2014 and covered the development of the original The Last of Us.
The documentary was announced with a 2-minute trailer that gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the development of The Last of Us Part 2, ranging from motion capture and writing to the troubles faced by the studio because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A release date for Grounded 2: Making The Last of Us Part 2 hasn’t yet been announced.
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is slated for release on the PS5 on January 19. The remastered release of the game will come with a host of new features, including improved loading times, extra levels, developer commentary with the main cast and developers, and even a new Guitar Free Play mode.
The Guitar Free Play mode also allows players to pick different characters to use in playing the in-game instruments in The Last of Us Part 2, including Joel, and even series composer Gustavo Santaolalla.
