The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening’s Switch remake is mere days away, so there’s not long left before before we all get our hands on it, while we have to wait an even shorter time to see early impressions of the game with its pre-release reviews. One of those has already come in, with the latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu coming with a review for the remake.
Famitsu has awarded The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening a collective score of 35/40, with three reviewers awarding the game a 9/10 score, and one of them being the outlier with an 8/10 score. Of course, this doesn’t necessarily mean all critics are going to like the game, but it’s still a good early indicator of the sort of critical reception we can look forward to for the game once the reviews start hitting everywhere else.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is out exclusively for the Switch on September 20. The game is up for pre-load now, and requires 5.8 GB of free storage space. Check out roughly 30 minutes of gameplay footage through here.
