The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp Pre-Orders Could Go Live Soon – Rumour

The eShop pages for both games were recently updated with new NSUIDs, suggesting that pre-orders for the titles could go live soon.

With the first month of 2023 nearly over, we’re beginning to take a closer look at what Nintendo has in store for the Switch over the coming months, especially with reports claiming that the Japanese company is looking to keep is console active and alive for at least another year. A handful of major first party games have, of course, been announced for the Switch for 2023, and it seems updates on some of them could be coming soon.

As reported by a user on Famiboards, the eShop pages of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp were recently updated, with both games being given new NSUIDs. Games receiving updated or new NSUIDs on the eShop usually aligns with pre-orders going live for them, and that, as you might imagine, as what speculation suggests is at work here as well.

Nintendo traditionally holds Direct presentations in the early weeks of every year to give deeper looks at its upcoming titles, and many will be hoping that another one of those is around the corner. Then again, the company has also been known to drop new information and updates through social media, so it’s possible that pre-orders going live for upcoming first party titles is something it simply ends up announcing on Twitter.

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp has been a long time coming and has been delayed multiple times, though Nintendo has insisted that it is still in the pipelineThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, meanwhile, is set to launch for the Switch on May 12.
