This is hypocrisy at its best, folks. When there is an agenda to push people do it without any shame and end up blaming things purely to deflect people’s attention from their own deficiencies.
This is exactly the thing that has happened after the shooting incident at the Sandy Hook Elementary School, where the shooter had apparently played some videogames and the NRA (national rifle association) put the blame on the entire hobby for being the primary reason for it.
However, they have created their own shooting game now and here’s what its about.
“NRA’s new mobile nerve center”, Practice Range delivers “one-touch access to the NRA network of news, laws, facts, knowledge, safety tips, educational materials and online resources”. Because, ya know, nothing excites a four-year-old more than learning about state gun laws.
“The NRA app is to promote gun safety, not ‘for kids aged 4+.'” Since you’re not firing on live targets, the age rating is less outrageous than it sounds, but it’s still disconcertingly low when games like Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat are rated E10+ while gorilla attacks are far less prevalent in our society than shootings,” Medl Mobile responded via Twitter.
