Dude he means generally speaking. Back in 2006 Gears was arguably the best looking thing out (atleast on consoles). I remember fighting some giant six legged Locust creature underground………..it almost felt like a movie at one point. I will say Gears had some ugly up close textures tho lol. Anyway I think he just meant that.

Because it’s the market that the big AAA developers target. Along with the UK.

Reviews are a joke now. I use shareplay and get my own opinion actually playing the game instead of going by the words of someone who may be in someone else’s pocket. Dying Light wasn’t released for review and it’s an amazing game. Keep relying on the opinion of someone else if you want but it’s pretty damn silly to do.

Worldwide the ps4 is trouncing the Xbox one. You are only worrying about the US? Why?

This is typical Xbox fanboy crap. God forbid a game doesn’t have multi player. I am happy it doesn’t have it. Wolfenstein was just fine single player.

Considering that this game was supposed to come out November 2014 … well I have to wonder how old were the supposedly “old builds”. And how much could they have changed the mechanics/gameplay in the time given?

Not trying to bash the game, but there were numerous articles on gamingbolt praising the game engine, details, quality of the mustaches, lightning etc. of the game and even an article (aka opinion) where the author was “not happy” with what has been said and demanded (yeah
good luck with that) everyone to lay off (first of its kind on gamingbolt – I wonder if other platforms would get the same treatment) – but hardly any talking about the gameplay … well it seems to me that for the most part – if no one else at least the author/s at gamingbolt – are trying to
avoid talking about game mechanics.

Of course the game could be a masterpiece, but considering what has been said and everyone talking about the visuals 98% of the time … well It doesn’t sound positive to me.

He’s an Xbox fanboy. Gears of War Judgement was considered the worst in the series and the last Gears of War came out years ago. Nobody even plays it online anymore.

Ryse is hacknslash. The Order is a 3rd person shooter.

And what are it’s flaws? You just stated that it looks impressive and it looks like Gears of War. Most of the criticisms of the game have been positive aside from trolls who never played the game. This game looks much better and more realistic than Gears of War. Gears of War had a poor story and chessy animations.
