The Walking Dead continues to shamble on as one of the biggest television shows in the world. It helped to spawn a very special game series in the Telltale series that managed to wrap up nicely. Now another adaptation of the zombie franchise is coming with a VR twist as The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners. Today, we got a new look at the game, as well as the multiple editions it will have.
Skydance Interactive released a new trailer, with a cheeky censored version that’s about half the runtime. It shows some new gameplay, but also highlights that the game will now also come to PS VR and the PS4 early next year, as well as Oculus Quest late 2020.
Saints and Sinners will get three different editions. The base edition includes the game and a pre-order bonus of a revolver. The Tourist Edition bumps up the cost $10 extra and includes several craft recipes for other weapons. Finally, there’s the Tower Edition which includes everything from the previous editions along with some physical goodies of a reversible backpack, lantern, 16GB thumb drive, postcards and pins (the game will still be digital). You can see only other the Tower Edition through the game’s website through here.
The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners will release on PC for various VR platforms on January 23rd, 2020. It will release for PlayStation 4 in Q1 2020 and Oculus Quest in Q4 2020. As of now, the game is exclusively VR.
