Low poly counts on the environment, poor lod, no AA, etc. There are better looking 3rd party titles.
The game definitely does NOT look last gen. Far from it, and it is far from the worst looking title. But in terms of being a head liner for Sony’s line-up, the graphics are underwhelming. Art style is good, if a little dank but works to set the game.
Even though it’s not close to pushing any boundaries’ visually, that does not make it a bad game. The perfect example of gameplay before graphics.

Graphics do matter. Note the latest releases for the PS4. Great example for the need for balance.
The Order: Very pretty game. But very short and basically just a tech demo. The PS4’s Ryse.
Bloodborne: Solid and very well loved gameplay and a game you can go back to. But lacking on any technical innovation, and not very visually impressive.
