Thomas Was Alone Arriving on PS3 and PS Vita in Spring 2013

The simplistic 2D platformer finds a new home.

Sony is certainly getting more comfortable with indie developers. The breakout indie title Thomas Was Alone will be heading to Playstation 3 and PS Vita after a great response on the PC and Mac.

Developed by Bossa Studios, Thomas Was Alone is billed as a simple 2D platform puzzle game that engages players with a simple yet charming story. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe will partner with Bossa for the PS3 and PS Vita release this Spring.

New content for the game includes a Director’s Commentary and DLC for the upcoming console version, which will be coded by Recurve Studios.

Former lead designer for Bossa Studios Mike Bithell stated, “I am incredibly proud to see Thomas getting a mainstream console release and the guys at Curve Studios are doing an awesome job making this version special. Thomas took over my life for the last two years so it’s great to see it reaching an even wider audience”.
