Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege is 60 FPS on PC, PS4 and Xbox One

'We needed 60FPS and no limits imposed by the single player.'

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege looked absolutely amazing when it was unveiled at the Ubisoft E3 press conference last week; Ubisoft has since come out and talked a lot about the game, telling us how it evolved from the now dead Rainbow Six: Patriots, and just what game modes it will have, and now they have finally explicitly answered that all important question to modern gamers as well- yes, the game will be 60FPS on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The even more important question of the resolution of the game went as yet unaddressed, however.

“It really came from the gameplay side. We felt that the only chance we had to come with something that would be impressive in the online FPS arena was to have 60 frames-per-second and no limits imposed by having single-player. That’s what made us change direction,” said Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot in an interview with CVG, confirming the game will be hitting the all important fluidity that 60 frames offer.

Rainbow Six: Siege is a 2015 game. Stay tuned for more coverage.
