Fancy a game that’s not going to be on Steam for much longer? Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD may be it especially since it was announced to be “retired from the store” on July 17.
This is according to the game’s official Steam listing. As a result, you can pick it up for $2 via an 80 percent discount. Why the game is being delisted is unknown but licensed music, the same problem that affected Remedy’s Alan Wake, could be the issue. You can also pick up the game for a discount on Xbox 360 and PS3 though it doesn’t seem to be leaving the digital stores anytime soon.
If you are interested in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD, an HD port of the classic skating title, then you should be warned of it’s issues particularly the lack of a goal tracker, no recovery ability (which is present in latter games) and some handling issues. Regardless, you can pick it up here if you’re so inclined.
