You don’t want to collect coins and collectibles then don’t do it. Ranting about it is pointless. If all you had in mystery solving games were the ones for the mystery there would be no need to investigate in the first place which is kind of the point. Cigarettes and Alcohol really shouldn’t be pushed in games, because in real life they can be so detrimental. However, I’m not the developer and no developer has asked my opinion. They thought it was a good idea for reason even if I don’t know that reason.
