Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes may not be the proper full-fledged sequel fans of the series have been waiting for since 2010, but something’s better than nothing. If you’ve been waiting for a No More Heroes 3, this might not be it, but it’s still pretty exciting, especially with the minds and talent of Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture behind it.
Recently, in a livestream held with Famitsu (which you can view below), roughly fifteen minutes of gameplay footage from Travis Strikes Again were shown off. Most notably, the footage shows the game’s previously announced co-op mechanics in action. Combat is also shown off a great deal, as you’d expect from fifteen minutes of a No More Heroes experience, and we get to see a good bunch of what the game looks like with its new top-down perspective, before the demo finally ends with a boss fight. You can take a look at it all below- video’s timestamped, so just hit play and enjoy.
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes launches exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on January 18, 2019. Meanwhile, recently, Suda51 also spoke about the possibility of bringing No More Heroes 1 and 2 ports to the Switch as well. Read more on that through here.
