Out of nowhere, Nintendo has announced that Grasshopper Manufacture’s Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, which was originally due for a launch some time in 2018, has been slightly delayed. It will now be launching on January 18th 2019. Travis Strikes Again, in case you don’t know, takes place directly after No More Heroes 2.
The story this time around is that Badman, the father of Bad Girl from the first game, wants revenge against Travis Touchdown for murdering. However, both assassins are transported inside of the Death Drive MK-II and must battle a series of bosses across numerous video games to collect the Death Balls.
The first to collect six Death Balls will have a wish granted, a la Dragon Ball Z. Players can also indulge in co-op, having a second person controlling Badman throughout the experience. The twist is that the six games available to play through are based on indie titles. On top of this, games like Hotline Miami, Shovel Knight, and Hyper Light Drifter will have T-shirts in-game that Travis can unlock.
