Twitch Gets a New Patch, Multiple New Features, On Xbox One

Those are some impressive features.

The Twitch app on Xbox One has just received a hefty new patch that adds a slew of new features to the Twitch functionality on the console. The new updates make the app very powerful, allowing users to associate real time gameplay stats with their stream, and also allowing them to add real time gameplay stats as search parameters.

What does this mean? Well, say, for instance, that you are playing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on your Xbox One and streaming it. If you want, Twitch can associate your, for example, K/D ratio with your stream. Now, if someone is searching for a Call of Duty stream, they can also tweak the search settings to limit their search only to specific K/D ratios (as an example).

Xbox One users can also now watch Twitch broadcasts on demand, meaning watching archived broadcasts is finally a thing now!

It’s a good update, hopefully Xbox One users take advantage of it.
