Assassin’s Creed Origins brought players to the beautiful world of Egypt, but PC players hoping Ubisoft would eventually bring the promised HDR Patch to their platform are getting the short end of the stick, as they’ve now quietly removed all mention of the platform from discussion of the patch.
Originally mentioned on an Assassin’s Creed Origins blog post, (see the original here, the internet never forgets) statement says that HDR support would be coming to all platforms. Without releasing any statement, they’ve now edited the post to remove mention of the PC, now specifically calling out PS4 Pro and Xbox One platforms.
For a PC port originally stated by its director on Twitter to “be getting a lot of love”, it’s easy to feel like the PC version has become the black sheep with the other issues the game has been having. Given all the problems with the PC release, there are other avenues for PC gamers to explore.
