EA Sports’ FIFA 14 is still hanging on to the top spot across all platforms in the UK according the latest UKIE Game Charts courtesy Gfk Chart Track. Unsurprisingly, Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto V is still at number two – considering that it took a game like FIFA to unseat it after one week at the top, don’t count on it dropping further for a while.
Codemasters’ F1 2013 entered the charts in the third position while Nintendo’s The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD managed to debut at fourth position following positive critical reception for both games. The remainder of the top 10 is fairly predictable, with Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, Disney Infinity, NBA 2K14, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Just Dance 2014 and Pro Evolution Soccer 2014.
Considering that FIFA 14’s sales are down compared to last year’s FIFA 13, will it continue to reign for the remainder of the year? Or will Grand Theft Auto V, which has already outsold its predecessor, ascend the throne again? Stay tuned.
