Undertale Has Sold 100,000 Units On PS4 and PS Vita In Japan

A new standard edition of the game along with a full color story book is set to release on May 24 in Japan.

Undertale had made its way to the PS4 and PS Vita back in August 2017. Now 8-4, the game’s publisher for the PS4 and PS Vita, has revealed that the game has sold considerably well in Japan and to be honest, this comes as no big surprise, considering the game’s immense popularity since its release.

The game has sold more than 100,000 units for the PS4 and PS Vita in Japan and overall numbers are certainly going to be much higher if sales for those two platforms are considered outside Japan are taken into account. Furthermorem Fangamer Japan will soon be releasing a standard edition physical version of the game exclusively through the online store. This version of the game will also include a 24 page story book featuring illustrations by Temmie and will be made available on May 24 in Japan.

It’s certainly great to see that the indie darling from 2015 continues to be enjoyed by people all around the world. If you haven’t played the game, you can pick it up now as it is available for PC, PS4, PS Vita, Linux, and Mac systems.

Thanks, GamesTalk.
