Pretty soon, patches will end up being bigger than the games themselves- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt just received an 18GB patch recently, and now, Supermassive and Sony’s surprise hit Until Dawn has received a pretty hefty patch of its own- it’s 10GB, although it does supposedly address quite a few of the longstanding issues with the game.
The patchnotes are sadly rather barebones, and they don’t tell us much, but judging by the feedback for the game, as well as the few things the patchnotes do let on, it’s not too hard to assume that a lot of the little complaints that had been raised against the game seem to have been the target of this update.
The patch notes follow:
- Fixes to prevent progression blocker in Ep9
- Option for inverted Y Axis
- Fixed Trophies
- Stability and bug fixes
That the Trophies have been fixed is probably going to come as a bit of relief to everyone who invested time into the game. Overall, this patch probably served to make a mostly great game even better.
