Valve has updated the sales figures for Portal 2 and the game has sold 4 million worldwide on the consoles and PC.
The game was released last year and has been met with critical praise, and is sitting pretty at 95 Metacritic score.
The information was revealed by Valve’s level designer David Sawyer in an interview with NeoGamr.
The total sales for the franchise has hit 8 million units, and this doesn’t include the Steam sales of the first Portal game.
Portal was released in 2007, and what happened to be an experiment from Valve was met with good reactions from the gaming community and press, resulting in the excellent Portal 2.
