Warcraft 3, Diablo 2 Remasters Teased in Blizzard Job Listing

Blizzard could be working on more than StarCraft Remastered.

Blizzard Entertainment has already laid bare plans to release StarCraft Remastered, a snazzy updated version of its classic real-time strategy. What’s stopping the company from adding Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3 to that list?

Apparently not much. According to a listing for Senior Software Engineer at Blizzard, the developer writes: “Compelling stories. Intense multiplayer. Endless replayability. Qualities that made StarCraft, Warcraft III, and Diablo II the titans of their day. Evolving operating systems, hardware, and online services have made them more difficult to be experienced by their loyal followers or reaching a new generation.

We’re restoring them to glory, and we need your engineering talents, your passion, and your ability to get tough jobs done.”

A Diablo 2 remaster has been hinted at for some time so this isn’t exactly surprising. The question then is how far along are these titles and will we see an announcement in the near future? Do they even exist in the first place? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
