InExile Entertainment’s Wasteland 2 is out and perhaps not so surprisingly, it’s awesome. There have been a reported number of issues but the developer has recently revealed a new patch to correct the same.
It corrects a large number of issues: There are memory optimizations to improve performance on lower end and 32-bit systems; the elimination of a movement bug that let enemies move further than was originally intended at times; 50 new messages in the loading screens that provide various hints and tips; improvements to the UI; various bug fixes; and much more. Some improvements like the California quest-lines in Hollywood and Griffith Park may require the use of an older save though.
