Windblown Single-Player Demo is Now Live Until October 24th

Explore the first biome and home village of Motion Twin's upcoming isometric rogue-lite before it enters early access next week.

The Steam Next Fest is now available until October 24th and provides access to dozens of demos for upcoming games. One promising example is Motion Twin’s Windblown, 3D isometric hack-and-slash title which enters early access on the same day the Fest ends.

Though the game supports up to three players in co-op, the demo is single-player focused (with progress transferring to the early access version). It throws players into the thick of it, offering a dinky butcher knife and three passives to choose from at the start. You’ll find other weapons, including a secondary, and upgrades like Curses lowering their damage output on afflicted enemies.

When you die, it’s back to the Ark, the starting village and home base where you can pick up a healing flask and invest Cogs collected during runs for permanent upgrades. Only the first biome, Golem Guardians, is available to explore in the demo, but the early access version features four more and 12 different weapons.

Windblown will remain in early access for at least a year, so stay tuned for further updates. Check out some extensive gameplay in the meantime.
