World of Warcraft Classic Demo Playable at BlizzCon 2018

Virtual Ticket holders can also try out the same demo after the opening ceremony.

In its recent BlizzCon 2018 preview for World of Warcraft, Blizzard Entertainment confirmed that WoW Classic would be playable on the show floor. The demo will feature early-level zones, one each for the Horde and Alliance, and will finally give players a look at Blizzard’s take on the vanilla MMO. Blizzard also promises more details to come at the actual show.

Of course, even if you can’t attend BlizzCon 2018, you’ll still be able to play the demo. After the opening ceremony on November 2nd (which takes place around 1 PM PDT), the demo will be available to download. You’ll have until November 8th, 10 AM PST to try it out, and also require a BlizzCon 2018 Virtual Ticket, which costs $49.99.

The Virtual Ticket comes with other benefits though. Aside from in-game items for titles like Overwatch, Hearthstone, Diablo 3 and so on, some World of Warcraft items are currently available. These include the War Mantle of the Alliance and War Mantle of the Horde, along with the Stormwind Champion’s War Banner and Orgrimmar Hero’s War Banner.
