Who asked for this?
While I am not denying the popularity of Worms World Party, or even its quality, the fact remains that it was ultimately a top down 2D shooter- graphically, then, it was a game in the least necessity of any form of a touch up. And yet, here we are. It was announced today that a remastered version of the game, featuring 1080p graphics and 60FPS, would be coming to PCs later this year, specifically in July.
Thankfully, the improvements don’t just stop there, which means that this product actually has a real reason to exist. The new version comes with full controller support, as well as support for Steam leaderboards, achievements, and cloud saves- nothing unexpected or earth shattering or anything, but all stuff that is appreciated nonetheless.
The game will be available exclusively on PC, via Steam or GoG, on July 8. It will cost $15. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
