At least the 360 allowed you to replace the console’s face plates. This is just an outright scam. Why not just sell the special edition shell, so people could have the console design they want, without shelling out for a new unreliable console that is sure to break, and then not be replaced with the same model. All fanboy nonsense aside, its a very fair criticism. These special edition consoles have no guarantee of a return of the original special edition sku on repair. So cry all you want.

Its just a new way of suckering in people to buy the console. In all honesty, most people hate the original boring vcr looking box. It might just work. My point is, its all fun and games until it eventually breaks, and they refuse to send the same console shell back to you. Who's tears are falling in all the Xbox forums then? Yours.
