Sega have released a new video which gives us an in-depth look at the upcoming Yakuza game, Yakuza: Ishin. Specifically in this video, not only are we given a walkthrough of various elements of the game and it’s respective engine mechanics, but for each element we are taken through we are given a split-screen contrast of the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of the game so that gamers can glean insight into the main differences between the two versions.
Unfortunately the video is in Japanese, so not everyone who watches will be able to understand everything that’s said, but the gist of the video shines through regardless of the language barrier.
The main thing to take away here, is that the beauty is in the details of Yakuza: Ishin on both system releases. The subtle and realistic back and foreground elements blend together to make for a visually stunning gaming experience. That beauty is amplified and refined in the PlayStation 4 version over that of the PlayStation 3. Visuals are sharper, and effects carry more kick.
At the end of the day, however, no matter which system you’re playing on, Yakuza: Ishin looks to be a beautifully crafted game overall.
