The May update for Xbox One has now gone live, and it brings a lot of previously promised features to the table- these include support for 120Hz refresh rate video display monitors, as well as cursory integration with popular chat app Discord.
Other features aren’t as major as that, but they will still be helpful- for instance, video clips can now be trimmed and edited directly from the Guide, button commands have been changed to be more intuitive than the nonsensical bindings they had before, and family access settings have been beefed up a bit. Overall, it’s a pretty good update- though I hope, especially on the Discord integration front, that the functionality is fleshed out even further.
If you haven’t downloaded the update already, it should have done so on your console itself, unless you turned off automatic updates. If you did, make sure to initiate the download manually.
