A New ARG Game For Xbox One? Microsoft Registers Two Domain Names Ahead of E3

What the hell is Xbox AB?

E3 is just 60 days away now, and as the first E3 presser of the newest generation of gaming consoles- now that all three are back in the market- draws closer, the hype builds up more and more. Microsoft, for example, have been building up the Xbox presser for a long time, claiming it will be one people won’t want to miss.

And now, just months ahead of the E3 conferences, Microsoft have registered two domain names for websites for something called Xbox AB- spotted first on NeoGAF. The domain names are www.XboxAB.com and www.XboxAb.net. The pages currently resolves to a Bing search page, and according to WHOIS documents, Microsoft registered these domains just two days ago, on April 28.

We don’t know what Xbox AB is- your guess is as good as ours- but a user on GAF suggests that it might refer to Augmented Body, which could be the rumoured augmented reality tech Microsoft are (probably) working on.

Stay tuned for more coverage.
