Next month doesn’t seem too crowded for big releases, but that only helps to highlight Asobo Studio’s A Plague Tale: Innocence all the more. Set during the Hundred Years War, it follows Amicia and Hugo as they attempt to survive the plague-ridden landscape. To help acquaint you with all the horrors that await, a new video with eight minutes of uncut gameplay has been released.
The rats are undoubtedly a highlight, as they outright consume a person. The stealth aspect is also showcased, as players must avoid head-on fights with Inquisition guards, ghosting past them whenever possible. Baiting the rats towards enemies using a well-lit torch is also an option. Crafting also has a part to play when it comes to making ammunition.
A Plague Tale: Innocence is out on May 14th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. There’s still plenty of time to see how the gameplay and other crafting elements play out, so stay tuned for more details and updates.
