Microsoft recently announced that the Xbox One was the best selling console in the US for November and December 2014. To continue the momentum, Microsoft decided to bring down the price of the Xbox One to $349. Aaron Greenberg, the marketing lead across 1st & 3rd Party at Microsoft has shared his thoughts on the console’s success.
He believes that they focused on the game’s line up and naturally players voted with their wallets. There is no doubt that Microsoft had the best line up in Q4 2014 which included the likes of Sunset Overdrive and Forza Horizon 2. Both proved to be critically acclaimed games and must haves for any Xbox One owner.
@PNF4LYFE Huge, we focused on delivering the best games lineup and gamers spoke with their wallets.

Furthermore, Aaron Greenberg expressed his happiness over the software sales of Xbox One games. Except Far Cry 4, Xbox One managed to beat out every other PS4 game in terms of sales.
@XBLdynamatrix @XboxP3 Yes nice to see how well games are selling on Xbox One.

It seems that once again, Microsoft is emerging as a strong competitor on its home turf just like the Xbox 360. But there is still work ahead for the company as PS4 sales roar close to 20 million.
