Bandai Namco have announced a new bundle for their upcoming Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown via a new video. Called the “Aces at War” bundle, it comes with the base game, of course, but in a steelbook case. It also includes a 150-page artbook, which contains exclusive illustrations, interviews, and four short stories written by Japanese writer-director Sunao Katabuchi, who’s also serving as the game’s writer.
The bundle is priced at $89.99- but here’s the thing. You can only purchase it from Bandai Namco’s official online store, and it doesn’t look like it’s available for PC, only for PS4 and Xbox One. For those of you out there who’ve fervently been waiting for the game (of which there has to be plenty, given how long it’s been since Ace Combat 6), this seems like an attractive collector’s edition.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown launches for PS4 and Xbox One on January 18, 2019 and for PC a few days later on February 1. The game recently got twenty minutes of gameplay footage, while another trailer showed off quite bit of its customization mechanics. Be sure to check it out through the links.
