The gamble of revealing and releasing Apex Legends on the very same day is one that has clearly paid off for Respawn Entertainment and EA. The game has already been played by over 10 million players since launch, and at one point even hit million concurrent players- it’s going well for the new battle royale title, is what I’m saying. And considering the fact that Respawn wants to support the game for a long time to come, we can probably (hopefully) expect them to keep updating, polishing, and fixing it as time passes.
The newly released patches for the game do exactly that. Though not a significant content update (too early for that), they fixe a few known issues that Respawn have caught notice of. The developer recently posted an update on Reddit, where they stated that they have pushed out a couple of “small” server side updates, which mostly fix stability issues, while also addressing issues such as Origin showing all your friends offline in the game, or Xbox One players not being able to purchase coins in the game’s store. Respawn also assures players that it’s aware of several other issues, such as an error that displays the “Party Leader Quit” message when it shouldn’t be displayed, and that these issues are being worked on.
Apex Legends is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
