Patch 1.05 for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey released for Xbox One and PS4 last week. Now it’s available for PC, and does just about as much as it did on consoles. At 0.1 GB, the patch simply improves the game’s stability. Nothing more, nothing less.
Ubisoft has been updating the game and fixing various issues with other patches. Patch 1.03 fixed an annoying issue that prevented older processors without AVX support from running the game. It also added a player storage chest on the Adrestia, which can hold up to 350 items, quiver upgrades for increased arrow capacity, and level adjustments to quests in Chapter 7.
The update also served to rework Call to Arms, allowing Lieutenants to scale with player level. This provided more health and damage in return. We don’t know if Ubisoft will release more detailed notes for patch 1.05, but it wouldn’t be odd to see a bigger patch soon. After all, the game’s first major DLC pack Legacy of the Hidden Blade will launch in December, so a bigger patch should be on the horizon regardless.
