Ubisoft is continuing with exceptional post launch support for its Assassins Creed Origins, the action RPG styled reimagining of their flagship franchise that they released earlier this year to great success. Origins at launch was a bit of a buggy mess (though it was far from how infamously bad Assassin’s Creed Unity was when it first released in 2014)- Ubisoft’s persistent support has cleaned things up quite a bit.
The key takeaway with the newest patch for the game, however, is not the bugs! Rather, it is the addition of support for HDR displays for the PC version of the game. At last, PC players will be able to enjoy this game in full HDR glory- should they have an HDR compliant monitor, at any rate.
That apart, yes, there are bug fixes abound here, too. A lot of them- the patch notes for the title, which you can see for yourself below, are rather extensive. Assassin’s Creed Origins is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
