Ubisoft Montreal’s next entry in the Assassin’s Creed series, namely Assassin’s Creed Origins, took the stage at Ubisoft’s E3 presser. New gameplay was showcased in 4K resolution and you can check it out below.
Along with the usual sailing, we got a look at the various wildlife in the game. This gave way to hints of slavery as Bayek will apparently work to topple the exploitative forces in Ancient Egypt. In terms of showcasing the wide range of environments that players will explore, Assassin’s Creed Origins doesn’t look too bad.
Strangely, Ubisoft transitioned to off-screen footage of the game’s open world. Bayek is seen getting ready to infiltrate a camp and more gameplay is promised for after the show. Which is great because who thought it was a good idea to showcase off-screen footage?
Assassin’s Creed Origins is out on October 27th for Xbox One, PS4, PS4 Pro and PC. What are your thoughts on it? Let us know in the comments.
