Assassin’s Creed Origins is less than twenty days away from launch now, and anticipation surrounding the game continues to amp up. Recently, it was revealed that the game would have a completely combat-free, exploration-based sandbox mode called the Discovery Mode, which would launch sometime next year, and we now have more interesting information on it.
Origins director Ashraf Ismail recently took to Twitter to answer some fan questions about the game, and one of the things he revealed while doing so was that the Discovery mode also include voiced narration. We can assume that it’ll be used to educational purposes while we explore the sights and cities of ancient Egypt, but what exactly this will entail is currently not known.
Ismail also revealed that Origins would allow for multiple save files, which is something we pretty much knew it would have anyway, while also confirming that the game would have a photo mode. Photo modes have started becoming quite common in most games these days, especially ones that have large and varied open worlds, so it makes sense that Origins would have one too. I expect it will complement the Discovery mode in excellent ways.
Assassin’s Creed Origins launches for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 27. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage on the game.
