Ubisoft has continuously reaffirmed that Assassin’s Creed Origins will be a massive game and several times larger than Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. It will also arguably feature more content with longer quest chains and more freedom to explore.
Of course, all of that content will take up a healthy amount of space. As per the Xbox Marketplace, the Xbox One version of Assassin’s Creed Origins takes up 42.3 GB of hard disk space. One has to wonder how much bigger it would be with the benefit of 4K textures for the Xbox One X version.
Assassin’s Creed Origins takes place in ancient Egypt and goes back to the very beginning of the series’ timeline. It stars Bayek, a Medjay highly skilled in close combat who enforces justice across the region and battles a shadowy organization plotting the country’s downfall. It will release on October 27th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
