Assassin’s Creed Shadows Launches November 15th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC

Players control Naoe, a shinobi, and Yasuke, a samurai, who cooperate as "shadows that serve the light" in late Sengoku era Japan.

Ubisoft has unveiled a new cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and as unfortunately leaked in the description recently, it’s out on November 15th. Pre-orders are live, and it’s coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out the trailer below.

Set in the late Sengoku period of Japan, the story is about Naoe, a shinobi from the Iga Province whose village is razed. Yasuke, the legendary African samurai, is part of the force responsible. However, instead of seeking vengeance, the former teams up with the latter to follow a different path. Naoe becomes an Assassin, but they work together as the “shadows that serve the light.”

As they infiltrate a castle, Naoe is showcased as stealthy and wields the Hidden Blade. Meanwhile, Yasuke is a powerhouse who can cut down enemies with a katana or wield a giant club with two hands.

The gameplay reveal hasn’t been dated, but it’s rumored for June 10th at Ubisoft Forward. Stay tuned for updates until then.
