After announcing the update just few days ago, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate officially supports Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PS5 Pro. Check out the trailer below to see how it performs (and maybe watch the Frye twins causing some mayhem).
Available in October 2015 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, Syndicate originally only ran at 30 FPS on consoles. On Xbox Series X, PS5, and PS5 Pro, it delivers 60 frames per second in 4K resolution. However, Xbox Series S players must be satisfied with 1080p/60 FPS. The update is free, making it ideal for jumping back into one of the series more underrated titles.
As for the future, Ubisoft is working on Assassin’s Creed Shadows, launching on February 14th, 2025, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Set in 16th-century Japan, the open-world action RPG was delayed to ensure time for more polish. It’s since done away with the Season Pass and advanced access, lowering the price of its Collector’s Edition, and will also launch day one on Steam.
