After a series of early build screenshots leaked for the same, Ubisoft went ahead and officially confirmed the development of Assassin’s Creed: Unity by releasing a new sneak peek teaser. Take a look at it above, and remember, as impressive as it may be, it’s still only alpha footage.
Ubisoft also stated in a press release that, “We have been working on the new Assassin’s Creed for more than three years and although we weren’t quite ready to show you our full vision for a next-gen only AC, it seems Abstergo are trying to force our hand!
“So here’s a true first look at in-game footage from Assassin’s Creed Unity. Stay tuned – we’ll have many more exciting details for you in the months ahead!”
The teaser shows off 18th century Paris and appears to be set during the French Revolution. It will be releasing in Holidays 2014, apparently only on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. There’s still no word on the other Assassin’s Creed game, titled “Comet”, which is rumoured to be in development for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
