Ubisoft has revealed that Assassin’s Creed: Unity’s city of Paris is larger than all the land masses of Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag combined. It’s in fact three times larger, as revealed by a level designer at San Diego Comic Con (the interview of which can be seen here).
But just because there’s only one city in the game, that doesn’t mean there isn’t enough content to go around. The campaign can be completed in 15 to 20 hours with side missions occupying roughly 100 hours of content. The overall scale has been increased and many of the famous buildings in the game like Notre Dame are 1:1 in scale but there won’t be any loading times before and after cut-scenes. Such is the magic of the PS4 and Xbox One.
Along with these platforms, Assassin’s Creed: Unity will also be out for PC on October 28th worldwide. What are your thoughts on the game’s scale? Let us know below.
