A new trailer showing off the PlayStation 4 version of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Unity is now available and if you were wondering just what the developer had in mind aside from co-op, this is a good place to start. Check it out above.
Ubisoft Montreal’s Vincent Pontbriand essentially describes how the team revisited the pillars of the franchise and designed Unity to focus on navigation and stealth, pulling it away from the heavy combat and vehicular focus of previous games. You’ll get a look at how the parkour mechanics have evolved as well as the detail in which revolutionary France has been detailed. On that note, there’s certainly quite a bit to look forward to with the co-op gameplay so we’ll see how it pans out in the long run.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity releases on October 28th for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Rather than a previous gen version of Unity, Ubisoft will release Assassin’s Creed: Rogue for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in November.
