Internet publication, Gamescabin have reportedly gotten their hands on a copy of Assassin’s Creed Unity via means outside of Ubisoft and as such, are not bound to the restrictions of an embargo. With this in mind, they have moved forward and published their review of the game, awarding it an 8.8 out of 10. A fine score and high praise indeed.
Writer, Chris Harding, said “Ubisoft set out to re-create the series with Assassin’s Creed: Unity and they’ve managed it with flying colours.” before going on to praise the games visuals, story and replay value amongst the usual review criteria. If this review is to be believed, Assassin’s Creed: Unity is starting out strong, right out of the gate.
It is to be noted that Gamescabin were not given a review copy of Assassin’s Creed: Unity by Ubisoft, they claim that the reviewer (Chris Harding) purchased the game as their own personal cost via GumTree.
