Atlus’ Project Re Fantasy Might Also Come To Portable Consoles, Job Listing Suggests

The new fantasy RPG might also release for the Switch.

The first details on Atlus’ upcoming fantasy RPG game, codenamed Project Re Fantasy, emerged back in 2017. Directed by Atlus veteran Katsura Hashino, who’s also directed the likes of Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, Persona 3, Persona 4, Persona 5, and Catherine, there haven’t been really lot of updates on the game other than a teaser trailer and some scant details.

However, a new job listing posted by Atlus might have clued us into a new bit of info- more specifically, what platforms we can expect to see it on. Given Atlus’ track record, we can definitely expect to see the game on whatever PlayStation platforms are active at the time, but the game might also come to the Switch, with a job ad for the position of Programmer talking about “coding software that operates on portable game consoles.”

Though there have been very few updates on Project Re Fantasy from Atlus’ side over the years – we don’t even know its actual name yet – back in December last year, the developer assured that both it and upcoming Switch exclusive Shin Megami Tensei 5 are “under active development.” Read more on that through here.
